MTYBA's Practice Development Grant was first offered in 2016. Since then MTYBA has committed to making several grants each year to junior tenant members seeking funding for opportunities to develop their practice.
MTYBA is awarding two grants, of up to £500 each, for members of Middle Temple up to 7 years PQE. The grants are intended to assist our members in developing their practices and can be put towards attending conferences, international events, advocacy training or other training courses. If this money could help you do not hesitate to apply.
MTYBA are pleased to announce the two winners of this year’s Practice Development Grant as Daria Gleyze and Alex Cisneros.
Daria, an employed barrister at the Law Commission, applied for a grant to undertake Public Access training so she can conduct cases pro-bono alongside her work.
Alex, a tenant at No.5 Chambers, will be attending the Administrative Law Bar Association’s Annual Seminar, focusing in particular on using international law in a domestic context.
Congratulations to both of the winners.
