Michael is serving as President of MTYBA, having previously served as Vice-President, Pre-Pupillage Officer (for two years) and Advocacy Officer.

Richard is serving as Treasurer of MTYBA for the first time, having previously held the role of Tenancy Officer and Pupillage Officer.
Richard is a tenant (and former pupil) at Nine Bedford Row. Previously he was a paralegal in criminal, public & coronial law and served as general counsel to a digital publishing company.
Sarah is serving as Secretary of MTYBA for the second time.
Sarah is a tenant at Goldsmith Chambers.
Sophie is serving on the MTYBA committee for the first time as Social Secretary.
Sophie is an associate barrister in the criminal litigation department at Kingsley Napley.
Monifa is serving on the committee for the first time as Communications Officer.
Monifa is a third six pupil at Garden Court Chambers practising family law.
James is serving as Pre-Pupillage Officer of MTYBA for the first time, having previously served two years as Advocacy Officer.
James has taught law to undergraduate students, which included teaching advocacy and mooting. He serves as director and trustee for charity, Aventure Plus.
Matthew is serving as Pupillage Officer of MTYBA for the first time, having previously served as Pre-Pupillage Officer.
Matthew is a pupil at 1COR Brighton.
Max is serving for the first time on the MTYBA committee as Tenancy Officer.
Max commenced a common law pupillage, mostly in crime, with 2 Dr Johnson's Buildings in October 2016.
Emma is serving as Employed Bar Representative of MTYBA for the second year.
Emma is an employed barrister at a US law firm, and a Visiting Lecturer at King's College London.
Hayyan is serving as Advocacy Officer of MTYBA for the first time, having previously served as Communications Officer and Secretary.
Hayyan is a self-employed paralegal. He also works in Parliament advising on racial and religious hatred, and is Executive Director of MuslimsInWW1.com - a WW1 archival project.
Lauren is serving as Development Officer of MTYBA, after serving as Treasurer for two years. She is also on the Middle Temple Hall Committee and represents Hall on the Finance & Resources Committee and on the Commercial & Operations sub-committee.
Lauren came to the Bar after a ten year career in banking. She is a tenant at Field Court Chambers.
Matthew serves as Northern Circuit Chair for the first time, having previously served as Pupillage Officer of MTYBA.
Matthew is a tenant at Lincoln House Chambers.
Will is serving as Outgoing President of MTYBA, in an advisory role to the current committee. Prior to becoming President, Will served as Vice President for two terms and Pre-Pupillage Officer.
Will is a tenant at 3 Temple Gardens (Chambers of John Coffey QC).
The MTYBA Northern Sub-Committee was co-opted by the MTYBA committee to increase the presence of MTBYA, and its engagement with members, in the northern regions.
