MTYBA Annual Dinner 2021 - Book Now!

MTYBA are thrilled to announce the date for the next Annual Dinner to be held on 5th November 2021.

We are honoured to be hosting guest speaker Master Fabian Picardo, Chief Minister of Gibraltar.

Our Guest Speaker

The Hon Fabian Picardo QC MP, Chief Minister of Gibraltar was elected as a Middle Temple Bencher on 31.10.2018.

Fabian Picardo became Chief Minister on 9 December 2011. He has continued as Chief Minister following his second General Election win on 27 November 2015. The Chief Minister is head of Her Majesty’s Government of Gibraltar and is ultimately responsible for the policy and decisions of the Government. He is also Minister for Finance and oversees the operation of the Civil Service and public sector as a whole. He was born and educated in Gibraltar and graduated in Jurisprudence from Oriel College, Oxford in 1993. He attended the Inns of Court School of Law and was called to the Bar in 1994. He was a Partner in the Gibraltar law firm Hassans before becoming Chief Minister.

Elected Leader of the Gibraltar Socialist Labour Party (GSLP) in April 2011, succeeding Joe Bossano who had led the GSLP since 1976 (Chief Minister 1988-96).

Event Details

If you have attended this event before, you know what to expect, if not, join us in celebration as we mark another year for the junior Bar at the Inn.

The dinner will be preceded by a drinks reception in the Queen's Room from 18:15 and we will be moving into the Parliament Chamber for dinner at 19:00. The dress code is Black Tie.

Tickets are available to MTYBA members and their non-MTYBA guests. Please provide us with your year of Call and Inn membership number when registering so we can confirm your details. 

If you have any dietary requirements, please provide us with the full details when booking your ticket. You will also be given the opportunity to express names of individuals or groups you wish to be seated with at dinner.
